Η Σίσσυ είναι ένα ρομαντικό τζιτζίκι που τραγουδά μόνο όταν νιώθει την αγάπη κοντά της. Δεν της αρέσει η τεμπελιά και βαριέται να περνάει όλη την ημέρα της πάνω σ’ ένα κλαρί χαζεύοντας. Τα τζιτζίκια της παρέας την κοροϊδεύουν, αφού δεν μπορούν να καταλάβουν τα συναισθήματά της. Όταν μάλιστα θα γνωρίσει έναν καινούργιο φίλο, τον Θέμη το μυρμήγκι, τα πράγματα θα γίνουν ακόμα πιο περίπλοκα. Η σοφή κουκουβάγια Βάγια θα προσπαθήσει με κάθε τρόπο να βάλει τα πράγματα στη θέση τους, δίνοντας σε όλους ένα μάθημα αγάπης.
