Η Νανελένε ήταν πετσί και κόκκαλο. Όλα τα φαγητά της φαινόντουσαν άνοστα και όλα τα γλυκά βαρετά. Ό,τι και να της φέρνανε, σήκωνε την όµορφη µυτούλα της και έλεγε: «Μµµ, τίποτα σπουδαίο» ή «Μµµ, άνοστο!» και µετά σούφρωνε το όµορφο στόµα της και έλεγε: «Μµµ, χόρτασα». Κι όταν έφτασε σε ηλικία να παντρευτεί, η Νανελένε κυκλοφορούσε παντού µε ένα ραβδί, που ήταν ο φόβος και τρόµος όλων, γιατί όποιον τη νευρίαζε τον κτυπούσε µε αυτό το ραβδί. Και η βασίλισσα Νανελένε νευρίαζε συχνά, αλλά για να εξηγήσουµε γιατί, πρέπει να πούµε την ιστορία.
