Οι τρεις σοφοί του σύμπαντος ορίζουν πως ο πρίγκιπας Βίκτωρ πρέπει να ταξιδέψει από τον πλανήτη του στη Γη. Ένας πιτσιλωτός γλάρος τον παίρνει στα δυνατά του φτερά και τον οδηγεί εκεί. Μια γλυκιά μαμά, ένας στοργικός μπαμπάς, η κολλητή του φίλη (μια τεράστια κουκουβάγια) και οι συμμαθητές του τον συντροφεύουν όσο ζει στη Γη. Οι περιπέτειές του του μαθαίνουν πολλά και τον κάνουν σοφό, ώσπου, έτοιμος πια, γυρίζει πίσω στον πλανήτη του για να γίνει ένας δίκαιος και καλός βασιλιάς.

Ο Βίκτωρ είναι ένας από τους πολλούς ταξιδευτές του Ουρανού που πέρασαν από τη Γη και τώρα βασιλεύουν στα αστέρια τους.
