Σ’ ένα μικρό νησί του Αιγαίου ένα κορίτσι ανακαλύπτει σε μια σπηλιά ένα παράξενο κρανίο. Το χαρίζει στο αγόρι που της αρέσει, νομίζοντας ότι του δίνει επιτέλους την απόδειξη ότι οι εξωγήινοι υπάρχουν. Το κρανίο το διεκδικούν και κάποιοι άλλοι μαθητές, που το είχαν βρει πρώτοι και το χρησιμοποιούσαν σε παράξενες κρυφές τελετές. Κανείς όμως δεν φαντάζεται την πραγματική του ιστορία, που αναφέρεται σε ένα σκοτεινό κομμάτι του παρελθόντος του νησιού. Τελικά το μυστικό του κρανίου θα έρθει στην επιφάνεια, αναστατώνοντας όλο το νησί.
