Το τάνγκραμ ( tangram, κινέζικα 七巧板, που σημαίνει επτά επίπεδα πλακίδια) είναι ένα παζλ που αποτελείται από επτά επίπεδα σχήματα, που ονομάζονται ταν (tan, επτάρι), τα οποία ενώνονται για να σχηματίσουν σχήματα. Ο στόχος του παζλ είναι να διαμορφώσει κάποιο συγκεκριμένο σχήμα (του οποίου δίνεται μόνο ένα περίγραμμα ή μια σιλουέτα) χρησιμοποιώντας και τα επτά κομμάτια, χωρίς να επικαλύπτει το ένα το άλλο. Φημολογείται ότι το τάνγκραμ έχει εφευρεθεί στην Κίνα κατά τη διάρκεια της Δυναστείας Σονγκ, και στη συνέχεια μεταφέρθηκε στην Ευρώπη μέσω των εμπορικών πλοίων στις αρχές του 19ου αιώνα. Είναι ένα από τα πιο δημοφιλή παζλ στον κόσμο. Ένας Κινέζος ψυχολόγος έχει ονομάσει το τάνγκραμ «το συντομότερο ψυχολογικό τεστ στον κόσμο», αν και όποιος ασχολείται με αυτό το κάνει για ψυχαγωγία και όχι για ψυχολογική ανάλυση. Μπορούν να σχηματιστούν πάνω από 6500 χιλιάδες σχέδια.
